Who can interact with this?
Anyone in your business can add or update sites and follow the checklist below (you can find out more about roles and privileges here)
How to Create a New Site
Please Note!
A Client Configuration must be created before a site can be created, otherwise, you will not be able to proceed as a Site must be associated to a specified Client Configuration. Similarly, you must have at least one Team Member or Contact on ENGAGE to be able to assign them as a Commercial and Site Manager of the Site.
Sites are the locations at which your placements take place.
Step 1. Log in to Engage portal
Step 2. Navigate to 'Network' and 'Sites'
Step 3. Select the ‘New Site’ button in the top right-hand corner of the page and a form will appear.
Step 4. Complete the following mandatory and optional fields.
-
Client Config (Mandatory) → The client configuration that the site will belong to.
-
PO No (Optional) → Used to add a PO Number which covers the whole site. If a PO is added, a ‘Valid from’ date must be selected but the expiry date is optional. If you wish to add multiple POs then you’ll need to set an expiry date for each PO and select 'Finish' in order to add a new one.
-
-
Site Name (Mandatory) → This will be the name of the site as it will appear in all other forms and lists.
-
Site Group (Optional) → Use this field to group different sites under one location i.e. if there is a large site which is broken down into sections, the ‘Site Group’ would be the whole site and then the 'Site Name' would be the names of each section. Using Site Groups can be incredibly powerful and beneficial to your business as it can allow you to find and analyse data patterns when the data is extracted in reports. e.g.:
-
Site Names:
-
Heathrow Airport Terminal 1
-
Heathrow Airport Terminal 2
-
Heathrow Airport Terminal 3

Working Days (Mandatory) → The specified days that workers can be active at a Site. If Monday-Wednesday are the only days selected for a site, a worker assigned to that site will not be able to record hours for Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.
