How to Create a Vacancy

 

  Who can do it?

At the agency: everyone can perform this action;

At the end-hirers: every role can action it apart from Finance and Timesheet approvers (you can find out more about roles and privileges here)

Step 1. Log in to Engage portal

Step 2. Navigate to 'Jobs' and 'Vacancies'

Step 3. Click on the 'New Vacancy' button

Step 4. Enter the client, site and managers of the vacancy

Step 5. Fill out the details for the vacancy as required. A few things to note:

  • Position - you can create a new position by clicking 'add new' from the dropdown menu or choose an existing position created before (Creating positions)
  • PO information - if you have set 'PO required during vacancy creation' you will not be able to save this vacancy without entering it (Managing PO's)

Step 6. Review, edit, or add new applicable rates (Rates in "creating positions")

Step 7. Choose the approvers for the vacancy (here is the guide on how to set your approvers)

Step 8. Click 'Create vacancy' once completed
